The Case of Central Water Conveying System

One Cable Company Ltd. in Changsha is a US-funded enterprise mainly produces various control cables.

To improve the space availability and production environment of the workshop, the customer chose Shini systematic solution for a large unit of central water conveying system as to supply enough water for nearly 80 sets of injection molding machines.



The whole system is designed into upper and lower two layers outside the workshop, which is constructed with welded frames by our professional team. On this basis, a large water tower is placed on the upper layer, and Shini pump group and water tank are put on the lower layer. The control box of water conveying system is at the inlet of the bottom layer to monitor the working condition of the water pump and chiller. In addition, the two alternative water pumps increase pump service life and system reliability. The steel-plastic water pipes used in the whole system is a kind of metal pipe in which the inner wall is coated with high adhesive plastic resin. As the water contacted surface is plastics, it greatly improves pipe’s service life, which not only avoids easily caused rust problem of traditional metal pipes, but also ensures the water quality for more stable operation. 



The surface layer of whole system is coated with thermal insulation cotton, which can prevent water from condensing on the pipeline while maintaining constant cold water temperature. Besides, there’s the electric valve on the return pipe of the machine room, so that it’s available to shut off water to pipe once system showdown, and ensure instant work after system startup, avoiding air mixed and improving the circulation efficiency of water loop.
